
OCS Traditionally a state run program consisting of four phases. Phase zero consists of weekend drills to prepare the Candidate for phase one; physical training, how OCS works and basic knowledge required for OCS.
Traditional Programs OCS
Phase one is a 2 week annual training consisting of classroom instruction, leadership training and field training. Phase two consists of 12 weekend drills at the Redmond Armory with the 205th RTI where the candidate is taught and mentored in the art of leadership and the duties of a leader. Phase three is a 2 week annual training, consisting of the practical application of leadership in a field environment conducted at Fort Lewis, Washington.
FAST TRACK OCS:
Phase 1, 2, 3 run consecutively
Prerequisite is same as OCS but minimum 90 semester hours.
OCS Commander is approving authority on who attends Fast Track OCS.
Once you begin Phase I OCS, you will drill at the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-6) until you graduate and pin on 2LT.
Currently there is a $10,000 accession bonus once you complete BOLC III for some branches, not all are eligible.

Non-Prior Service individuals are eligible to enlist, attend basic training and go straight to OCS with our 09S enlistment option!
